3D Shockwave - Cellulite Reduction
Looking for a highly effective, non-invasive alternative to traditional cellulite reduction treatments? Perhaps you have experienced several other treatments previously or are looking for that one perfect solution to help boost collagen production in various areas. Whatever it may be, we have the cellulite products and treatments for you. One such treatment our clients have found to be super effective is 3D Shockwave!
3D Shockwave is the latest technology in Cellulite Reduction. However, this is not the only cellulite treatment we offer here at our clinic, so if you are looking for 3D Dermology, you can find it here. Cellulite is such a common complaint for men and women across the world, no matter their size or body type. Cellulite can cause huge issues with body confidence, and it is almost impossible to get rid of through diet and exercise alone, which can be incredibly frustrating. Even some of the most toned, fit and healthy people suffer from the problem of cellulite and wish desperately to be free of it.
Thankfully, 3D Shockwave is finally here to help you say goodbye to those puckered, unattractive cellulite marks for good. This treatment is powerful, effective and really works to visibly reduce Cellulite on the body while also increasing firmness and lifting the skin. The treatment can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as part of an ongoing fat reduction programme with us to accelerate your results.
90% of women who took part in a clinical trial would recommend this treatment for the outstanding results and inch loss it can deliver. When teamed up with other fat reduction treatments such as Cryolipolysis, which we also offer here at our Liverpool clinic, then clients can expect to see staggering improvements to their body size and tone and reduction of cellulite. A study done on the effectiveness of the combination of Cryolipolysis with 3D Shockwave treatment to reduce cellulite and inch loss speaks for itself. Have a read by clicking here.
3D Shockwave is the latest affordable addition to our fat reduction treatment range here at Aesthetics of Liverpool. It is designed to not only offer a powerful standalone service in the fight against stubborn cellulite and leg treatments but also as an accelerator for both the fat removal and the skin tightening services that we offer here too.
How does 3D Shockwave work?
3D Shockwave works by stimulating fat breakdown, lymphatic drainage and collagen synthesis. Shockwave was originally used medically to break down and release kidney stones and to help ease joint pain. Amazingly, patients receiving pain treatment also noticed that when they had the treatment around their hip joints, they saw noticeable inch loss and visibly reduced cellulite. This was when 3D Shockwave was first used to treat unwanted cellulite on the body.
The treatment is completely pain-free and involves placing probes on the cellulite areas, which then emit radial waves known as shockwaves. The shockwaves then work to disrupt the fat cells and break down the sclerotic fibrous tissue. This tissue is what is responsible for much of the uneven and dimpled appearance of cellulite. Another way it works is by increasing collagen production and encouraging lymphatic drainage, giving the skin a firmer appearance. In doing so, more fatty acids are flushed away, further improving the skin’s appearance.
What areas of the body can be treated?
You can use this treatment as part of a fat reduction programme or as a standalone treatment, both delivering visible and outstanding results. 3D Shockwave treatment is powerful enough to reduce the appearance of even the toughest cellulite, lifting and firming the skin.
Cellulite Treatment Results
3D Shockwave is able to deliver visible results by firming and tightening skin while dramatically reducing cellulite and improving skin’s texture. Our clients begin to notice improvements in their skin texture and elasticity after 3-4 sessions, though optimum results will be visible one month after your final treatment.
You can also pair the 3D Shockwave treatment with other cellulite treatments and cellulite products to get that perfect result you are looking for. Many people who undergo this cellulite reduction treatment tend to combine it with other effective treatments. But we would advise you to speak with one of our staff prior to commencing with the 3D Shockwave procedure to ensure that it is the right course of action for you.
Is 3D Shockwave safe?
3D Shockwave is used worldwide and is a completely safe procedure. It was first used medically to ease hip and joint pain and to break down kidney stones.
Some considerations could possibly hinder your ability to receive the cellulite treatment. If any of the following apply, you may not be eligible:
- You have an infection
- You are under 18 years old
- You are pregnant or trying to conceive
- You take anticoagulants such as warfarin
- You have any tumours within the region of treatment
- You have any implants within the area of treatment
The risks with 3D Shockwave treatments are generally low, and you have nothing to be concerned about. Speak with one of our staff beforehand, and they will help ease any possible worries. Please do your due diligence and ensure the above do not affect you.
What can I expect when I have my treatment?
Prior to treatment, you will be invited for a personal consultation with an Aesthetics of Liverpool Practitioner, where you can discuss your concerns and what you are hoping to achieve from treatment with one of our experts. During treatment, probes will be placed on your skin in the area of unwanted cellulite. The shockwaves are then emitted to the skin, causing fat cells to break down and be eliminated from the body.
How many treatments will I need?
You should begin to notice after 3 to 4 sessions. However, optimum results should be visible after one month, with 8-10 treatments recommended for longer-lasting results.
What happens after treatment?
After treatment clients are able to return to their day to day activities immediately. This treatment is completely non-invasive. This means there are no needles or penetration to the skin and you will experience no pain or discomfort during your treatment.
Cost of Treatment: From £299
