dermamelan               THE WORLD’S LEADING    DEPIGMENTING METHOD.

Dermamelan is suitable for all skin types and tones. Whilst the treatment is designed for those with particularly bad pigmentation; it can also be used by those with minor / major pigmentation, hormonal changes or potential sun damage who are looking for a quick solution.

Depigmenting Solution

We are excited to introduce our exclusive Dermamelan Depigmenting Solution. Suitable for all skin types, this Depigmenting Solution has actively been designed to improve the appearance of melanin pigmentation in our skin. With this feature, the Dermamelan Depigmenting Solution can help to combat stubborn, hormone-based conditions such as Melasma, Chloasma and Lentigo. However, its benefits go much further.

Our treatment is also effective in reducing signs of sun damage, regulating your skin’s oil secretion, reducing the appearance of pores, and preventing breakouts. As a result, your skin is left with a radiant glow.

How Does The Treatment Work?

This is a highly effective skin peel treatment, especially for blemished skin. For those suffering from melasma, chloasma, lentigo, hyperpigmentation, even those who have developed blemishes and blotches from oral contraception, pregnancy or sun damage, our Dermamelan Depigmenting Solution is the treatment for you. It will help combat the blemishes high levels of melanin have caused, leaving you with a more even tone and luminosity to your skin. It is also known to help even out your skin tone if you suffer from acne scarring too.

By combining a professional treatment with at-home aftercare, the Dermamelan Depigmenting Solution ensures that you experience maximum results.

FAQs

Melanin is what gives our skin its colour. It is a substance that is created in the basal of the epidermis, in cells called melanocytes. In most cases, humans all have similar concentrations of melanocytes in their skin. However, it is the amount of melanin that these cells produce that creates different skin tones. Darker skin and certain ethnic groups are naturally richer in melanin.

Specific lifestyle changes can also cause the amount of melanin in your skin to increase; this includes pregnancy and menopause for women and sunbathing for all, as these cause an overproduction of melanin. Too much melanin leads to hyperpigmentation and darker patches and blotches on your skin. Fortunately, our Dermamelan Depigmenting Solution can help.

There are two steps to a Dermamelan Skin Peel lightening treatment. The first is the professional appointment carried out by one of our skilled experts. Before your initial treatment, you will have an in-depth consultation and be required to prep your skin. It is important to stress that this treatment must not be interrupted during any circumstance, during the duration of the prescription. Please do not use any other products on your skin during this time. It is then time for your Dermalean skin mask to be applied to begin the lighting process. The mask must remain on your skin for a minimum of 6 hours; the clinician will provide instruction on how to remove the mask at home later.

Step two requires an intensive homecare routine that must be carried out on a daily basis to maximise results.

After three to four weeks, your skin will begin to show a substantial improvement, around 80%. Your discolouration will reduce, and your skins will appear even-toned, brighter and healthier. After one month, it will become clear whether a second peel is necessary, but, in most cases, this is not needed. As time goes on, skin becomes plump and hydrated, with reduced pores. In addition, sebaceous skin is regulated, and there is a general rejuvenation of your skin’s surface.

Our Dermamelan Skin Peel contains a concoction of active ingredients that block the body’s production of melanin, including Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Arbutine, Titanium Dioxide and Retinyl Palmitate. These agents irreversibly obstruct an enzyme called tyrosinase, which is crucial in melanin synthesis. What this means is that with reduced production of melanin, pigmentation is significantly reduced.

We must be clear, the ingredients will not make melanocytes disappear, but they will either stop or completely paralyse melanin production. This reduces the risk of white blemishes and, in the long term, will improve your complexion.
