Plexr: A Game Changer For The Bags Under Your Eyes
Plexr, also known as Plasma Soft Surgery, is one of our most recent prestigious treatments carried out here at Aesthetics of Liverpool; it is the new and innovative way of ridding people of their hooded, baggy or saggy eyes. This unique and some might say an improved take on the Blepharoplasty, comes with fewer risks and sometimes more benefits than a surgical procedure would.
Why Is Plexr Revolutionary?
Again, Plexr being a non-surgical procedure can already be the reason it wins over so many people because this means that it is non-invasive, there is barely any downtime after the treatment has taken place and it holds exceptionally low risks. With an Upper or Lower Surgical Blepharoplasty, patients are treated under general anaesthetic, and there’s no surprise that there are risks and downtime involved if a scalpel is removing the unwanted excess skin around a patients’ eyes.
Hooded or bagged eyelids are seen to be an imperfection to the eye area, and they are usually an effect of ageing which, unfortunately, is inevitable. Other reasons a person may encounter hooded eyelids or bagged eyes is due to an unhealthy lifestyle, or it’s just solely in their genetics. So, we are proud to be able to provide our clients with a highly effective solution to their undesirable hooded and bagged eyes!
Plasma Soft doesn’t only correct under-eye bags; it can also treat a patient’s body or face by a Necklift or ridding of Lines & Wrinkle Blemishes, Stretch Marks, Skin Lesions and even Acne! This revolutionary procedure is able to counteract all of these “imperfections” by merely using ionising gasses in the air to create small electrical surges that can treat any of the above areas. This is all done with next to no risks as none of the heat being produced by the hand-held device is spread over any other tissue in the surrounding areas of space that is being treated.
The Process At Aesthetics Of Liverpool It is our mission to give each and every customer the outcome they deserve and desire; we are a team of highly experienced and skilled Clinicians that do the utmost for our clients so that they leave our clinic revitalised and with skin that feels brand new. To get the most out of your experience at Aesthetics of Liverpool, we will always invite you for a consultation so that we can get a better idea of the outcome you long for.
In this consultation, clients may ask us any pressing questions they may have or speak to us about any of their concerns in regards to their treatment, and we can tell them all the ins and outs of the procedure which will be followed by us booking them in! However, to save you a little time if you’re considering having Plexr, we have answered some questions below that you may be wanting to find ou the answers for:
Is Plexr Painful?
This question is probably one of our most asked. Plasma Soft surgery is again the opposite of a surgical procedure; in terms of the aftermath and the pain that patients will encounter. The only discomfort a client may feel is the heat from the Plexr device; this is all dependent on what setting the machine need to be on to give the client the best results for their skin and how sensitive the surface is.
What Are The Side Effects of Plexr?
Although we have mentioned that there are barely any side effects, with any procedure there will be a few minor ones. For Plexr, these side effects consist of mild swelling, weeping from a clients’ eyes, crusting, scarring and tenderness. The majority of these side effects are uncommon and temporary.
How Long Does The Plasma Soft Treatment Take?
The treatment can last anywhere between 45-90 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. After it has taken place, most clients can carry on with their day as usual!
What Is The Recommended Aftercare and What Should You Expect to Happen?
Like with any procedure or change your body faces, there will be consequences. For Plexr, this downtime is minor swelling, and this usually begins two days post treatment and can last for up to a week. Some people may encounter crusty scabbing, which is just a sign of their body trying to heal the treated area so it should be left alone. The scabs will fall off naturally like always.
In terms of aftercare, a client will need to take extra care of their skin, to begin with; this means sun or any heat exposure isn’t recommended and keeping skin clean and dry is a must.
